THE FOPPOLA PROJECT

Foppola is a project created by Raffaella Bosani during a very particular time in her life, when she felt the need for profound change. During that challenging period, she had the opportunity to pause and reflect on what she truly wanted from life, realising that the time had come to evolve.

From this phase of awareness and transformation came the desire to create something that genuinely reflected who she is and the values she believes in.

SUSTAINABILITY
 After years of working in the fashion world, in boutiques and high-end brands, Raffaella felt the need to create a project that combined creativity with ethical commitment.

Every garment created by Foppola is designed to respect both workers’ rights and the environment. The brand works with high-quality, carefully selected materials and focuses on 100% natural fibres from organic farming, which are easily biodegradable and produced without the use of chemical pesticides, artificial fertilisers or genetically modified seeds. Every stage of the production process is carefully monitored, from the yarn sourced in Italy to the selection of wool from certified farms that guarantee animal welfare.

OUR ARTISANS

Foppola pieces are conceived in Madrid — the city Raffaella now calls home — and brought to life in Italy, her country of origin, where the art of craftsmanship remains a fundamental value.

At Foppola, there is a strong belief in small artisanal realities and in building genuine relationships with the people involved in the process. Today, the knitwear is produced in a family-run workshop in Puglia, in the south of Italy — a place where artisanal knowledge has been passed down through generations. Here, tradition, experience and an obsessive attention to detail come together to shape every piece.

Each creation requires time, skill and care. They are not simply garments, but quiet expressions of craftsmanship — and of a story made of people, places and tradition.

 

INSPIRATION

Foppola draws inspiration from the past, reinterpreting it and giving garments a new, dynamic and contemporary vision. Each creation is a visual memory made up of shapes, colours and details that take us back in time.

The Foppola woman is bold and charismatic; she does not conform, she loves to stand out and she is not afraid to break the mould. She lives the present intensely, enjoying every moment. She chooses consciously and wears with intention. Through each garment, she freely expresses her personality, always authentic, always true to herself.
